Does anyone have any information on the education system and how Turks are portrayed in schools in Armenia or abroad?

In American schools, some textbooks briefly mention the Armenian genocide as causing the death of 1.5 million armenians. It has no citation or details on the issue. Seems like someone payed the company to add that little tid-bit in.

In a European History class though, the Ottomans are portrayed accurately as being quite honorable and granting religious freedoms to its subjects. It also says that the Greek independence, was not caused by oppression but because of the spread of nationalism to Greece from France and Allied powers.
