Many of these historical newspapers are from the New York Times. It should be noted that, the articles are biased, because the Ottoman Empire was the enemy of the United States and therefore there was a vested interest by Christian reporters at the time to vilify the Muslim Ottoman Empire. Yet despite this bias, many journalists did their job and documented the atrocities of Armenians in the context of painting themselves as victims in an Armenian genocide but really engaged in a widespread Armenian rebellions.
